SCA's Humorous Writing Contest

To participate in SCA's humorous writing contest, you may submit a humorous short story that is 2,000 words or less to www.sca.ucla.edu by midnight of April 8. The story can be on any subject, as long as it is funny, interesting, and completely original! Three winners will be chosen by the Student Committee for the Arts. If you are chosen as a winner, you must allow SCA to film you reading your story aloud, as a spoken word piece. The film will be available as a link on the SCA and UCLA Live websites. Prizes include tickets to the David Sedaris Show on April 29, 2009, and autographed copies of David Sedaris's latest bestseller, "When You Are Engulfed in Flames." You will not get your story back once it is submitted. Happy writing!
