BriTANicK Sketch Show and Workshop

Student Committee for the Arts and @UCLA Residential Life are thrilled to present

YouTube sketch duo BriTANicK for a live sketch comedy show and workshop.

After BriTANicK’s hour-long sketch show, they will answer questions from the

audience and talk about comedy writing, creating a successful YouTube channel,

and transitioning from YouTube to Television and Film. Finally, BriTANicK will

workshop student-written sketch scripts live with the audience and offer

feedback into the sketch writing process.

Submit your sketch scripts, 5 pages or less, by April 25th

for a chance to be workshopped during the show.

Refreshments will be served after the show.

Doors open at 7:30 pm, show begins at 8:00 pm.

INSTRUCTION FOR SUBMISSIONS:

Submit your sketch comedy scripts (5 pages or less) for a chance to be workshopped live by BriTANicK during the April 27th show!

Entries due April 25th at 11:59pm.

Email your script as a .pdf to scaucla@gmail.com with subject line “BriTANicK Script Submission”, with the following items:

  1. Name
  2. Year
  3. Major
  4. Comedy/Writing/Theatre Group Affiliation (optional)
  5. Will you be at the show?
  6. Contact email and phone number

Selected scripts will be notified Tuesday April 26th.
