Story for a Story: CALL FOR STORYTELLERS!!!

Student Committee for Arts at UCLA presents:

Story for a Story

CALL FOR STORYTELLERS!!!

Everyone has a story, and we want you to tell yours.

SCA is looking for 6 brave UCLA students to share the stories you tell friends, the stories you tell at parties, or the stories you won’t tell anyone…and we want you tell it in front of an audience!

Don’t worry! We’ll prepare you before going on stage!

Stories are written in a five week workshop with professional storyteller, Khanisha Foster, who will guide you and help you become the best writer-performer you can be!

Dates: All sessions take place Saturdays from 10am to 12pm
1/30 – Session #1 – Week 4 (note: meeting may be pushed to Sunday)
2/6 – Session #2 – Week 5 (note: meeting may be pushed to Sunday)
2/13 – Session #3 – Week 6
2/20 – Session #4 – Week 7
2/27 – Session #5 – Week 8
3/5 – Evening Show @ the Improv Space

Students selected have one excused absence from a workshop, but trust us, you won’t won’t want to miss any of them!

HOW TO DO IT:
No preparation required!

Just set up a time to talk with us and tell us about yourself!

Interviews will take place all of week 3 and will last about 10 minutes.

Selected Storytellers will be notified Tuesday of Week 4 (January 26th)
